Tuesday, July 3:
6 to 8 p.m.: TRADITIONAL ISLAND SQUARE DANCE
At Berkley Manor Barn. Music by Molasses Creek; Philip Howard, square dance caller.
8 to 9:15pm: GATHERING AT THE NPS DOCKS
Dance tunes with deejay Emerald Owl Productions
9:15 p.m.: FIREWORKS
Launched from the NPS parking lot. Gather at the NPS docks and around Silver Lake Harbor.
Wednesday, July 4:
8 to 10 a.m.: MEET NEW PONY, WINNIE, NPS Pony Pens
9 a.m.: FLAG RAISING CEREMONY and NATIONAL ANTHEM
Ocracoke School flag circle on School Road
9:30 a.m. to Noon: ANNUAL SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Pony Island Motel lawn. Sponsored by Jimmy’s Garage.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: OCRACOKE LIGHTHOUSE
The lighthouse will be open for viewing. All are welcome to see inside; no climbing.
4 p.m.: OLD TIME OCRACOKE PARADE
All are welcome to enter. Cash prizes. Theme: 300th Anniversary of Blackbeard’s demise. Entrants may register online by July 2 by emailing a photo of the entry form to info@visitocracokenc.com. Pick up parade entry number between 1 and 3:30p.m. on July 4 at Ocracoke Gas Station (on the porch). PARADE ENTRY FORM HERE:

Parade starts at Ocracoke Oyster Company and ends at NPS Parking Lot.

On the lawn at Books to Be Red; bring your own chair or blanket
6:45 pm AWARDS PRESENTATION
Winners announced for Parade and Sand Sculpture Contest. Books to Be Red lawn
7:30 to 11 p.m. GLOW PARTY with Emerald Owl Productions
Ocracoke Community Ballfield, end of Maurice Ballance Road (off Middle Road). All ages welcome. $5 admission. Additional glow-in-the-dark items and refreshments available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Ocracoke Youth Center.
Thursday, July 5:
Ocracoke Day Use Area/Lifeguard Beach
7 to 10 p.m.: COMMUNITY BEACH FIRE
Bring your beach blankets, chairs, marshmallows, roasting sticks. S’mores provided for first 150.
